Entry Form Australasian Rogaining Championships

There are three gender classes of competition: Men’s teams, Women’s teams, and Mixed teams, the latter being all teams that contain at least one female and one male rogainer. Within each gender class, all teams are in the Open age category.

- Youth (23 Years and Under): all team members must be 23 years of age or younger on 31st December of the year of competition.
- Open: all teams are in the Open age category.
- Veteran: all team members must be 45 years of age or over on 31st December of the year of competition.
- Super Veteran: all team members must be 55 years of age or over on 31st December of the year of competition. (Note: all Super Veteran teams are automatically in the Veteran class also).
- Ultra Veteran: all team members must be 65 years of age or over on 31st December of the year of competition. (Note: all Ultra Veteran teams are automatically in the Veteran and Super Veteran classes also)

Waiver

I understand that Rogaining, as an outdoor action sport, carries significant risk of personal injury. I know that there are natural and man-made hazards, environmental conditions, and risks which, in combination with my actions can cause me serious injury. I agree that I, as a participant, must take an active role in understanding and accepting these risks, conditions and hazards. I also agree that I, and not the organisers and officials of this event, WICKED ROGAINES or the land owners, am responsible for my safety while I participate in this event. By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group's aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organiser.

And lastly a few rules that are important to us:
1) All team members must stay within 50metres of each other at all times
2) Packs and compulsory gear must be worn at all times.
3) All teams must compete within the spirit of the competition. We reserve the right to withdraw teams from the competition who fail to do so.
4) We also reserve the right to make any necessary decisions about any team or individual in regards to the events safety.

All competitors must carry the following compulsory gear:

Compulsory Clothing
– Waterproof jacket
– Fleece jersey
– Thermal top and pants
– Warm hat (BUFF, woolen hat, balaclava)
– Gloves
– Waterproof over-trousers recommended

Personal Compulsory Equipment
– Compass
– Whistle
– Backpack
– Water bottle or bladder
– Headlamp with spare batteries
– Survival blanket

Each team must carry:
– a basic first aid kit that includes; bandage, wound dressing pain relief, strapping tape.
– mobile phone
– PLB (recommended)

The  fees are:
Early Bird (till 31st July 11:59pm)
Adult – $175 per person
Youth – $125 per person

Standard Entries (till 31st October 11:59pm)
Adult – $195 per person
Youth – $145 per person

Late Entries (till 10th December 11:59pm)
Adult – $215 per person
Youth – $165 per person

REFUND POLICY

  • 80% refund – withdraw before 31st July 2023
  • 60% refund – withdraw before 30th September 2023
  • 20% refund – withdraw before 30th November 2023
  • No refunds for cancellation after 30th November 2023
